My goal as a muralist is to bring a little joy and wonder to the world around us, and to turn an ordinary location into a place that is a catalyst for people's imagination. That is what paint on a wall can do that a printed banner never will.

Carlos Rodriguez
I'm an artist from Norwalk, California. I was born and raised in Sonora, Mexico, and immigrated to Mexico when I was 8. I specialize in realism and lettering — capturing the beauty of nature and animals, and emphasizing the details and textures of both the subject and the environment around it.
Most of my recent work has been across California for a wide range of businesses in Whittier, Pasadena, Newport Beach, Fullerton, San Bernardino, Bloomington, El Monte, Maywood, Pomona, and Los Angeles.

Consultation & theme selection
We walk the space, talk about the story or scripture you want on the wall, and measure for scale.

Design concept & wall prep
I draft a concept sketch sized to your wall, revise it with you, then prep and chalk the outline.

Live painting
Brushwork begins. Staff, students, or congregation are welcome to watch — or help with the blocked-out sections.
- 04
Walkthrough & care
We review the finished piece together and I leave written care and touch-up guidance for the years ahead.
